Courtney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. She has been working with children, teens, adults and families for over 12 years. Courtney has experience in working with children who have special needs, and their families as well as helping parents navigate the school system in the best interest of their children and teens. Her focus is to guide individuals and families to change patterns and routines, discover positive and productive communication techniques, and strengthen relationships therefore increasing success at home, at school, and in their community. Her work with parents is purposed to empower their family by learning effective communication techniques, creating appropriate boundaries within the framework of their family, as well as gaining tools to help them in parenting their children. My ultimate goal in counseling is to give children and families hope and tools to work towards healing what has been negatively affected by the circumstances of life.
