Volunteers can serve in many areas including:

Yes. Depending on the role, especially those involving children, a background check and/or orientation may be required.

Yes. Most roles require volunteers to be at least 16 years old. Some opportunities allow younger children to volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Absolutely! We welcome corporate, school, church, and service groups. Please contact us in advance to coordinate group volunteer projects.

Yes! We are happy to provide opportunities for students needing service hours for school, clubs, or scholarships.

In some cases, yes. We accept court-ordered community service on a case-by-case basis, for specific programs. We do not accept offenses involving violence or theft. Please provide details of your offense when you inquire so we can determine eligibility.

Dress comfortably and appropriately for the activity. If you're helping at the resale shop or warehouse, closed-toe shoes are required. Cy-Hope shirts and other merch is always encouraged.

We understand things come up! Please contact the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible so we can adjust our planning, preferably no less than 24 hours prior to the start of your shift.
